Do you want your message to have an influence? Share it! Here is how:

Since you recorded your footage on your phone, edit and share it from your phone!
You can use one of these video editing applications:
• For iPhones/iPads use iMovie, Splice, or Pinnacle Studio.
• For Android phones use Splice, Andromedia Video Editor, or Storymaker.
• For WindowsPhones use Movie Creator.

YouTube hosts many how-to-do videos for each application.

Publishing without editing

If you don’t have time to learn a new application, I have a few tips, on how to create a video ready to be shared straight away:

Share your video

Once your video is ready you need to share it. I recommend creating a free YouTube account. Other common hosting services are Vimeo and Facebook. Then on your phone, you select your video and you upload it to your video platform. This process takes time.

Then you copy & paste the specific video link into your email, WhatsApp, or Twitter message.

Here a 2-pager that will help you with the editing and sharing: 1-MinStmnt_Part03

Experiment

Experiment with different ways to share your videos: Do you get most replies when sharing with your email? Or is it better to post in specific discussion groups? What time of the day is best suited to receive many replies?

I hope this blog post has inspired you. Try it out! Maybe you’ll find out that video statements are something for you!

Dear Hynek. Well done, great introduction – thanks a lot! Organising our messages and stories in tirades or 3 acts – beginning – middle – end makes a lot of sense to me. And you definitely played this game up to your last blog entry in this 3-posts-series.
I definitely try, following your instructions it must be doable.
    With a smile, Nadia
