The Knowledge-Management pages on the SDC Website have undergone thorough refreshment. Updated in contents, structure, and appearance the new  Learning & Networking pages inform on learning culture in SDC, its thematic networks as well as on capacity development in international cooperation. Included are publications and links on these issues. 

New IMARK e-learning module „Knowledge Sharing in Development“


Profit by an excellent opportunity to discover tools and tips on how to share knowledge and organize your work accordingly, in your teams and in your organization.
This e-learning-module is part of the Information Management Resource Kit (IMARK) developed by FAO in collaboration with Train4Dev, EuropeAid, SIDA, Helvetas and SDC. It is aimed at staff working in a wide range of organizations including international organizations, donor agencies, multilaterals, NGOs, research institutes, national governments, regional organizations, and Community Based Organisations.

Many of us know YouTube tutorials on web 2.0, introducing social media concepts and tools. Today we have chosen for you: 

“The last to speak is the last to be heard…”  This is one of the risks of a traditional group debate or decision-making processes. The following tutorial introduces such mechanisms and risks and suggests to set up debates in a logic of ideas-clusters rather than time. It introduces as a free web2.0 tool for public deliberation that centers around ideas, eliminates mere “noise” and exposes assumptions.
